An exercise was held on the chairlifts on the slopes of Uludağ, one of Turkey's most important winter tourism and ski centers, which hosts hundreds of thousands of local and foreign tourists every year.
Gendarmerie Search and Rescue teams within the body of Bursa Provincial Gendarme Command conducted drills on Cennetkaya, Tutyeli, Kuşaklıkaya and Maden runways.
According to the scenario, 12 gendarmerie personnel participated in the exercise, in which those trapped on the ski lifts on the runways were rescued.
