NEW GRADUATES ARE CONCERNED FOR THE FUTURE

Stating that the faculties of dentistry, which started to be opened rapidly in Turkey since 2000, are far above the demand in our country, İZDO President gave the following information in the Age of Sea: “As of today, the number of dentistry faculties in our country has reached 104. With the participation of 8 thousand young colleagues every year, the problems increase and our graduates are faced with the anxiety of the future. Especially since 2000, the opening of dental faculties has accelerated in Turkey. Faculties that are opened without any plan and program, without preparing the technical and physical infrastructure of the faculties and with insufficient teaching staff, appear as an important country fact.

In the Age of Sea, he finally said: “Health policies that will ensure that all dentists in Turkey, public, university and self-employed, provide preventive dentistry services to reach the public widely, are developed with the contributions of the Turkish Dentists Association, and the oral and dental health data of our society The goals of the World Health Organization and the World Dental Association must be achieved.”
