Citizens Over 65 Catch Technology in the 'Old and Young Information Access Center'

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to serve with the "Elderly and Youth Information Access Center" in order to ensure the adaptation of young people and citizens over the age of 65 to social life. In the center; In addition to providing computer, photoshop, smart phone usage, English and music trainings, cultural trips and theater events are organized.

Social Services Department continues to organize trainings and social-cultural activities in order to ensure the adaptation of young people and citizens over the age of 65 to social life at the “Older and Youth Information Access Center” in Kırkpınar Underpass located in Cinnah Street in Çankaya district.

In the center where 3 thousand 700 registered members and 1837 active members benefit; computer, photoshop, smart phone usage, English, music and diction trainings are given. In addition, cultural tours and theater events are organized for members.

SERVES SIX DAYS A WEEK AT 09.00-17.00

Providing information about the center, which is open 6 days a week between 09.00 and 17.00, Social Services Department Elderly and Youth Access Center Responsible Sema Özsoy said, “Young members can use computers and the internet, and members over the age of 65 can use smart phones, music, diction, photoshop, computer and internet access. We teach English. We serve 6 days a week between 09.00:17.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX. We organize tours in and out of Ankara. We do our best to ensure that our members spend quality time here.”

The Center's Computer Trainer Nazmiye Erciyas said:
