The Regulation on the Amendment of the Regulation on the Appointment and Relocation of Teachers of the Ministry of National Education entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the legislation included in the base article of the relevant Regulation and referred to in other articles was updated in accordance with the changes made, and the relevant article included the Teaching Profession Law.
According to the said amendment, since the scope of those who can be appointed to teaching without an exam among the national athletes who made a degree in the Olympics was expanded, the Regulation on Assigning and Relocating Teachers was also arranged in this way.
National athletes, provided that they meet the requirements for teaching;
a) Those who are in the first three places in individual or team competitions at the Olympic Games or Paralympic Games,
b) Those who ranked in the top three places in the senior and junior age categories of the sports branches included in the Olympic Games program on the date of the competition, which is the subject of the national athlete certificate, in the World and European championships,
c) To those who placed in the first three places in individual or team competitions in the summer and winter youth Olympic games organized by the International Olympic Committee,
ç) Universiad Games, Mediterranean Games, Olympic branches, individual or team competitions in the first three places,
d) Those who have represented our country at least ten times in team sports in the World and European championships of the sports branches included in the Olympic Games program, as well as in the qualifying competitions and qualifying group competitions related to these competitions, and have obtained a national athlete certificate,
e) Those who are in the first three places in individual or team competitions in the Deaflympic Games,
f) The right to apply to be appointed as a candidate teacher to the physical education teaching staff has been granted to the top three winners of the World and European championships in the senior and junior age categories of the sports branches recognized by the International Olympic Committee. It was stated that the appointments to be made in this context would be made with the coordination of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
On the other hand, the phrase "manager and teacher" in subparagraph (b) of the first paragraph of Article 41 of the same Regulation was changed to "manager, teacher and expert trainer". Thus, in calculating the service score of the teachers, an arrangement has been made to count the time spent as a specialist instructor in private education institutions as spent in the first service area of the service region where the task is performed.
