The 101 cruise season has been completed with the 2022st and last ship, Costa Venezia. Bodrum Cruise Port, one of the most important passenger entrance gates, adding value to tourism in Bodrum district of Muğla, hosted the 22st and last voyage of the year on Tuesday, November 101. The season ended with Costa Venezia, which is 15 meters long and visited Bodrum 323 times during the season.

Bodrum Cruise Port, which is part of Global Ports Holding, the world's largest cruise port operator, hosted thousands of tourists from different countries this year, with a record number of ships and passengers. Bodrum, one of Turkey's favorite tourism destinations, has also shone in terms of cruise tourism this year.

Bodrum Cruise Port, with 101 cruises and nearly 100.000 passengers, became the 2022rd port in the country, after Kuşadası and Istanbul, in the 3 season.

The ships of the world's most important cruise companies passed through the waters of Bodrum this year. 347 m. of the Royal Carribbean. long Odyssey of the Seas came to Bodrum for the first time and Bodrum hosted a ship of this size for the first time in its history. It was a very busy cruise season with Norwegian Jade owned by Norwegian Cruise Line, Mein Schiff 5-6, Mein Schiff Herz owned by Tui Cruises, Azamara Journey owned by Azamara Cruises, Azamara Pursuit and others.

Bodrum Cruise Port successfully carried out turnaround operations (passenger exchange) in Bodrum this year, serving nearly 21 passengers on 15.000 cruises as the home port of the Blue Sapphire ship.

In addition, when 650 voyages between Bodrum-Kos and over 100.000 ferry passengers were added to the cruise movement, Bodrum attracted attention with its sea tourism.
