Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu examined the Nissibi Bridge, which uninterruptedly connects the Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia Regions.

Expressing that the Nissibi Bridge is an important route that connects Adıyaman, Siverek, Şanlıurfa and Diyarbakır, Karaismailoğlu stated that the bridge has made and will continue to make important contributions to the regional trade and tourism while making the lives of the citizens easier. Our Minister continued his speech as follows:

“Journeys that used to take hours on the Nissibi Bridge fell to just minutes in 2015. When this place was opened, it was the 3rd longest bridge in Turkey. But in the 2015 years that have passed since 7, this place has turned into an ordinary bridge with the technological bridges built all over Turkey and needed by the region. We are proud that bridges that require works of art and engineering have now become ordinary projects of Turkey. Nissibi Bridge is just one of these magnificent works that have been built throughout Turkey for the last 20 years. What the Çanakkale Bridge is in Çanakkale, the Nissibi Bridge means the same for Adıyaman, Diyarbakır and Şanlıurfa.”

Stating that the total length of the Nissibi Bridge is 620 meters and the middle span is 400 meters, Minister said, “Around 2015 million vehicles have used this place since it was put into service in 5. What would happen if it didn't? 5 million vehicles would make grueling hours-long journeys by ferry here. As a result, our citizens have saved time and have a safe journey.” said.

After Minister Karaismailoğlu's statements, he took a while with the drivers of the vehicles using the bridge. sohbet it did.
