117 Suspects Caught in 'Operation Rooted Out' in Hatay

Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said that in the "Operation to Root Out" drug dealers in Hatay, all 117 suspects for whom detention warrants were issued were apprehended.

Minister Soylu, in his statement at the Provincial Security Directorate's City Security Management System Center (KGYS), stated that they carried out an "Operation to Root Out" in Hatay regarding the fight against the supply of drugs.

Stating that the operation was carried out at 05.00:441, Minister Soylu said, “In this operation, which was carried out in coordination with the Hatay Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, to 42 different addresses, including approximately 1934 teams, 1 special operations elements, 2 personnel, 26 helicopter, 199 UAVs and 117 narcotic dogs, all XNUMX suspects were killed. caught.” he said.

Minister Soylu stated that the operation has been carried out for 5 months with technical follow-up and monitoring.

Emphasizing that his operation is focused on vendors, our Minister Mr. Soylu continued: “There are amounts seized here. They are also disclosed, but in this operation, it is important to crash the network rather than the amount.
