Kia, which started its transformation journey in 2021 with the slogan of "Inspirational Journey", held a press event in TRNC for its new electric vehicles EV6 and Niro. At the event, the brand's electrification strategy and electric models were introduced.
Saying that they are taking firm steps towards their sustainable transportation targets, Kia Turkey General Manager Can Ağyel said: “Within the scope of the Plan S strategy announced by Kia in 2020 and our roadmap for 2030, we continue to expand our electric product range in Turkey and continue our transformation journey that started globally. Kia has announced that it will develop 2027 electric models by 14. New EV 6 and New Niro EV are our two new models developed in line with this strategy. Stating that the New EV 6 and New Niro EV attracted great attention as soon as they arrived in Turkey, Ağyel said: “We will continue to invest in our electric vehicles within the scope of our 2030 roadmap. At the end of 2023, we will bring our electric model EV 9, which has another SUV body type, to Turkey and develop the alternatives we offer to our customers in electric vehicles.

Niro, which also offers DC charging, can be charged from 50 percent to 65 percent in 100 minutes at 45 kW DC charging stations and 10 minutes at 80 kW DC stations.
