Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, attended the Fourth Joint Sharing Forum organized by the Confederation of Turkish Employers' Unions (TİSK) in Divan Kuruçeşme.
Making a speech at the event held with the main theme of "Sustainability in Working Life", Minister Bilgin stated that as a social state, they have to prevent the reflection of high inflation-induced economic costs on employees and laborers, and said, "This is the basis of the social policies we implement. This is our perspective on collective bargaining processes in both the private and public sectors, and we are trying to transfer income with minimum wage. With the historical minimum wage increase we made at the end of December last year, an increase of 50 percent was made. What is more important is the removal of tax from all wages up to the minimum wage. We also made a raise in July. Is this enough, insufficient in the face of inflation. For this reason, the Minimum Wage Determination Commission will meet again in December and we will make an arrangement that will eliminate the damage of inflation on the workers.
“A Comprehensive Arrangement To Overcome All Problems Will Be On The Agenda At EYT”
Noting that they are nearing the end in solving the problems of working life that are waiting to be solved, Bilgin said that EYT, which is among them, will be resolved in December:
“Let me say in advance that there is a comprehensive regulation to overcome all problems. This is a very detailed study. There are many people here, each of them has a special situation. We will solve individual problems as we would a collective problem. In this regard, a transparent arrangement will come to the fore that will relieve people's concerns about their future in working life.”
Bilgin stated that employees and those waiting for retirement will be satisfied with the said arrangement.

In the first place 1,5 million people will be retired. The remainder will be retired gradually according to the premium.
