President Erdoğan spoke at the E-Human Program held at Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center. In his speech, Erdoğan gave good news to students and announced that summer internship salaries, which are currently 30 percent of the minimum wage, have been increased to the minimum wage.

Stating that the "career centers" that were put into operation in all universities build a bridge between the youth and the real sector, President Erdoğan said that the "Talent Gate" was put into use to bring together the demand of the real sector and the career dreams of the youth.

President Erdoğan noted that over 1,2 million students and graduates, as well as over 8 employers and career counselors, came together free of charge through the “Talent Gateway”.

President Erdogan said:

“With the 'National Internship Programme', we have solved another important problem of our students in a fair and efficient way. The talent pool, where personal information is kept confidential, is another important program in which our institutions are increasingly popular in recruiting interns. Thus, we had the opportunity to meet the supply and demand of intern human resources without leaving any room for any intermediary and its doubts. Everyone's reference in this system; its own ability, experience and vision. In the last 2 years, more than 160 young people have had the opportunity to do internships in public institutions through this program, whose wages and insurance are covered by the state. The fact that the program has been cited as an exemplary practice by the OECD is a sign that we are heading in the right direction.”

Making evaluations about regional career fairs, President Erdoğan stated that more than 23 thousand registered youth in 400 different places and more than 5 thousand employers have come together at these fairs.

Noting that the "International Career Fair", aimed at acquiring the talents of Turkish citizens studying abroad or holding a blue card, has also been held in 10 countries, President Erdoğan said, "Turkey is no longer a center of attraction that attracts its well-educated sons to go abroad for careers, but its sons who study abroad. has been. Even talents from other countries head to Turkey to work in our companies that have become global brands. There are foreign companies that have opened a call to employ thousands of Turkish citizens. We have come to this point. Someone had to make do with a few applications because for a well-educated young man, working in our country is much more attractive than working abroad in all respects.” he said.

President Erdoğan reminded that the Career Gate platform, an innovative system integrated into e-Government, was put into service last year for public personnel recruitment.

Emphasizing that the effectiveness of this system, in which all processes from application to placement are carried out in digital environment, is gradually increasing, President Erdoğan stated that more than 100 public institutions have been integrated into the platform, 3 million applications have been made, and transactions regarding 2 thousand 130 positions have been successfully carried out.

President Erdoğan said that promotion and promotion processes in the public sector have also started to be made through the Career Gate.

Pointing out that the development of public employees is an issue that they attach great importance to, President Erdoğan stated that they have also implemented a system that will enable all public officials in central, provincial and foreign organizations to receive training through digital platforms without being dependent on time and space.

President Erdoğan said, “More than 659 million public personnel affiliated with over a thousand institutions and 3,8 local governments have benefited from this service, which we call the Distance Education Gate. We have ensured that half of the public employees can receive service from this platform, which includes more than 30 thousand training materials.” he said.

“The added value of the services to our country is 20 billion liras”

Stating that they are preparing to raise this system to the next level in the light of the results of the training needs analysis, President Erdoğan shared the information that the number of visitors to the platforms, especially the Distance Education Gate, exceeded 2 million in 400 years.

Pointing out that this is important in terms of showing where we have come from, President Erdoğan said, “The added value of these services to our country is calculated as 20 billion liras, and the benefit to carbon emissions is 136 thousand tons per year. Of course, what we are talking about are revolutions that cannot be imagined by the mentality that places personnel in the public sector without even opening the sacks in which they put the papers of the exams they have done in the past, and that still distributes personnel to alliance partners with percentages.” used his statements.

“We have completed the preparations of Turkey's human resources inventory”

President Erdoğan continued his speech as follows:

“Next year, we are increasing the number of intern students in our National Internship Program to 150 thousand. We also ensure that the internship periods can be extended up to 3 months depending on the mutual consent between the student and the institution. Our expectation from the private sector is that they will support us to increase this number to 150 thousand by giving internship opportunities to 300 thousand students under similar conditions. We will join hands, we will be in solidarity and we will make our leap in an instant.

On this occasion, I would like to give good news to our young people. As of today, we are opening applications for the National Internship Program for 2023. In addition, as of 30, we are increasing the amount that corresponds to 2023 percent of the minimum wage we pay for summer internships to the minimum wage level. In addition, we are expanding the Talent Management Model, which we developed to ensure that our students can continue to work part-time after their internship. We have completed the preparations of Turkey's human resources inventory, which we know has been expected for a long time by both the public and private sectors. As the next step, we started the work of 2023-2027 Strategic Human Resources planning in order to determine the human resources with the skills and effectiveness that the public and private sectors will need in the future. Our aim is to carry out a comprehensive planning that will pave the way for us to train the human resources that Turkey will need until 2053, with the participation of all parties.”
