Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) has added a new one to its work on digital motorsports. The automobile track, karting and rallycross versions of TOSFED Körfez Racetrack, modeled for use on the popular racing simulation Assetto Corsa, were published on the website korfeziarispisti.org. Models designed by Eren Tuzci and used for the first time by TOSFED Star Search participants, as well as the simulators of Apex Racing within the scope of the Mobile Education Simulator project, have reached 40 thousand primary school students in 10 provinces in Anatolia so far.

TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı said; “As the first country to organize a digital championship in national status among 146 member countries of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), the importance we attach to the newest branch of motorsports is increasing day by day. We are also active in the FIA's Digital Motorsports Commission. With the TOSFED Mobile Education Simulator project, which we implemented this year as one of the 10 projects included in the FIA grant support program, we plan to first compete the talented primary school students we will discover in Anatolia in digital tournaments, and then form a karting team with the successful students. Finally, by modeling the Körfez Racetrack digitally, we have brought a value of our own to the virtual world and given our athletes the opportunity to train in a simulator environment, without limits. We will continue our work to develop the digital motorsports branch, which we will also compete in the FIA Motorsports Olympics.” said.
