China attaches great importance to grain safety

Grain production in China broke the record by reaching 2021 million 682 thousand tons in 850, while the share of grain per capita rose to 483 kilograms.

October 16 is celebrated as World Grain Day. China's total grain production has been protected over 650 million tons for many years. While the country's grain production broke a record by reaching 2021 million 682 thousand tons in 850, the share of grain per capita increased to 483 kilograms.

As China continues to increase its grain production capacity, it steadily raises the minimum purchase price of rice and wheat and strengthens subsidies for rice, corn and soybean producers. China's National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration has provided more than 3 billion yuan (about $300 billion) in loans to more than 210 businesses, while enabling local funds to be set up to support grain businesses and farmers.

On the other hand, in the last decade, the variety of agricultural products grown and produced in China has increased, while product supply has been strengthened.
