Samsun Metropolitan Municipality has solved the traffic and parking problem that has been experienced for many years in Çarşamba district with a mechanical multi-storey car park. After the test phase of the system is completed, the car park will be opened to service.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has solved one of the most important problems in the districts, including the center of Samsun, with the latest technological investments, has built a 1880-storey car park with a capacity of 5 vehicles in an area of 214 square meters, where the old market place is located in the Orta Mahalle Şehit Tuncay Kocabaş Street in Çarşamba district. In the parking lot, which will work with the domestic mechanical system, the cars will not be parked by the drivers, but by the mechanical system with an elevator. Vehicles will be taken from the parking area and delivered to their owners with the same system.
The Metropolitan Municipality will also build a parking lot on the west side of the district. In addition to the mechanical parking lot, which will start the testing process in Havza, new parking lots will be built in Ladik, Vezirköprü, Canik and İlkadım districts.

The people of the district, who were eagerly waiting for the day when the car park, which was built on the east side and is in the testing process, will be opened on Wednesday, thanked the Metropolitan Municipality, arguing that it would prevent the accumulation on the streets. Mehmet Ali Mersinlioğlu, one of the tradesmen of the district, who said that the car park to be put into service will breathe life into Wednesday, said, “We see this car park, which was built on Wednesday, as a very necessary investment. Wednesday needed a parking lot like this. The density of vehicles in the district is very high. Believe me, we had difficulty even going home because of the random parking of the vehicles on the roadside. I think the parking problem will decrease a little bit when this place opens. It was very nice. However, it is not enough. Our Metropolitan Municipality will also build a parking lot on the west side. When that place is opened, our district will breathe. VEHICLE TESTS WILL BE DONE
Mechatronics Engineer Hasan Usta, who is in charge of the software team, said that 2 system tests of the car park are over and one system test remains, and said, “Our system tests are about to end. Our vehicle tests will start in a week. Afterwards, a general check will be made and it will be ready for the opening.”

In this way, vehicle owners will not have to search for a parking space. When he sees his job and wants to buy his vehicle, he will bring the system tool by scanning his card. The quality of life of our fellow citizens of Çarşamba will increase even more. We will also build a parking lot on the west side.
