Bursa Textile Show (BURTEX) Fair, which aims to strengthen the foreign trade of the textile industry under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, opens its doors on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

Bringing the leading players of the industry together in Bursa, Bursa Textile Show Fair is getting ready to open its doors for the 8th time. At the fair, which will be held with the support of the Ministry of Trade, 133 companies will present their 2023-2024 Autumn-Winter fabric and accessory collections to the visitors. More than 40 foreign buyers from more than 500 countries are expected to attend the fair to be held at the Merinos Atatürk Congress Culture Center. Foreign business professionals will also hold bilateral business meetings with participating companies within the scope of BTSO's Commercial Safari Project and two separate International Competitiveness Improvement (UR-GE) Projects for the textile industry.

The Biggest Bursa Textile Show in the Region

İsmail Kuş, Vice Chairman of BTSO Board of Directors, said that as the Chamber, they attach great importance to UR-GE projects for the export-oriented growth of the sectors. Stating that they aim to make Bursa, the production and export center of the Turkish economy, one of the most important exhibition centers in the world, İsmail Kuş said, “We have been organizing the Bursa Textile Show as a fair since 2018. Today, it is the region's largest garment fabric fair. We will continue our fair organization activities in order to strengthen the competitiveness of our city in the sector and to bring companies together with new customer groups. Our fair has become an important brand in the textile sector in Bursa, increasing the number and quality of visitors each year. I would like to thank our textile industry representatives who have taken care of the fair since the first day and all our stakeholders who supported the organization of our fair.” he said.

Business People from 40 Countries Coming

Stating that the innovations in the sector and the fashion-shaping products of Bursa will be exhibited at the fair for 3 days, İsmail Kuş said that more than 40 foreign business professionals from more than 500 target countries, especially Russia, Spain, Italy and England, will visit the fair in line with the demands of the participating companies. he also added.

The fair, which is organized by the Global Fair Agency (KFA) Fair Organization company, is also supported by the Ministry of Trade, KOSGEB and UTİB. Bursa Textile Show, which will host its visitors for 3 days, will end on Thursday, October 20.
