Alstom, the world leader in green and smart mobility, announced the opening of a new regional office in Riyadh to strengthen its commitment to rail development in Saudi Arabia and the region. The new office will serve as a hub for the development of Alstom's operations across the Gulf and the wider region, providing rail maintenance services, supplier quality development and monitoring, as well as marketing, tax and financial services to the region.

The new office will also serve to further leverage the Saudi Vision 2030 to foster regional talent development and actively build localized talent in the Kingdom, in line with Alstom's growth.

In this new regional office, Alstom will bring HealthHub, its condition-based and predictive maintenance solution to Riyadh, to support railway infrastructure innovations in Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom's HealthHub digital hub will begin monitoring a fleet of 748 vehicles in real time for the Riyadh Metro, Jeddah Airport People Mover and Haramain High Speed ​​Train.

The center will be operated by a team of railway mobility engineers and data scientists, offering the opportunity to provide advanced expertise and digital services to both Alstom and non-Alstom rolling stock, infrastructure and signaling, both inside and outside the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia has been home to Alstom for over 70 years and Alstom is proud to strengthen its presence in the Kingdom. The establishment of the HealthHub digital center and a new regional office in Riyadh will provide Alstom with an opportunity to access top talent and contribute to the next chapter of the Kingdom's development.

Launched in 2014, HealthHub is Alstom's proven solution for conditional and predictive maintenance, continuously monitoring the health of railway assets, maximizing availability and reliability while optimizing lifecycle costs. By predicting failures before they occur, HealthHub prevents excessive maintenance, reduces the need for physical inspections, and reduces train downtime by up to 30%. Today, HealthHub technology monitors more than 90 vehicles from 18.000 different fleets around the world, including UAE, Morocco and Algeria.

Alstom first came to Saudi Arabia in the 1950s. Since then, Alstom has made a significant contribution to the development of the region's transport infrastructure. The latest project in the Kingdom includes the supply of an integrated Metro System for Lines 4, 5 and 6 as part of the FAST Consortium and line 3 within the ArRiyadh New Mobility Consortium (ANM). As a FLOW Member, Alstom provides O&M services for Lines 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Riyadh Metro. for Haramain

On the high-speed rail line between Mecca and Medina, Alstom supplied Talgo with Mitrac TC 3300 propulsion equipment and Flexifloat high-speed bogies for the power heads of 35 very high-speed trains, as well as a VIP train for the 450 km line. care. Alstom is also responsible for the construction of the monorail transit system of the King Abdullah Financial District. Finally, Alstom is the supplier and operation and maintenance provider of the turnkey Innovia APM 300 automated people handling system at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
