The case related to the accident that resulted in the death of 9 people, which occurred as a result of the collision of the High Speed Train (YHT) with the guide train carrying out road control in Ankara, was postponed to February 7, 2023, after the expected expert report did not come.
High Speed Train (YHT), which made the Ankara-Konya expedition in Ankara on 13 December 2018, was hit by a guide train while entering the Marşandiz stop.
While 3 people, including 9 mechanics, died in the accident, 107 people were injured.
Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit against the suspects at the Ankara 30th Heavy Penal Court on the charge of "causing death or injury by negligence" following its investigation into the YHT accident. The case was postponed to February 7, 2023, after the expected expert report did not arrive.
