WHAT IS SALAVAT?

Ibn Mas'ud: The Messenger of Allah (saas) said:
“The closest people to me on the Day of Judgment are those who recite salawat on me the most.”
“Whoever forgets to recite salawat on me, he will be made to forget the way to heaven.” (Beyhaki)
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, states:
“There are traveling angels of Allah on earth. They convey the greetings of my ummah to me (immediately).” (Nesai, Sahv, 46)
HOW IS SALAVAT BROUGHT?
Salawat is brought as follows;
“Allahumma salli ala Muhammad and ala ali Muhammadin, kemâ salleyte ala Ibrahima wa ala ali Ibrahim, inneke hamidun majid.” is in the form.
The shortest form of salawat is;
“Allahumma salli ala Muhammad wa ala ali Muhammad.” is said as.
Meaning: O Allah, salute our Lord, our elder Muhammad,

Salla Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam or 'alaihis-salatu wassalam
