The construction of Uncalı City Cemetery, the foundation of which was laid in February and an intensive work continues, is rising rapidly. Serkan Temuçin, Head of the Department of Science Affairs of the Metropolitan Municipality, examined the works carried out in the Uncalı Cemetery and gave information about the works.

A Modern Facility

Serkan Temuçin, who said that the renovation works in Uncalı City Cemetery are continuing, said, “We are continuing our constructions quickly. We are planning to finish our construction by the end of the year and to do the burial services here again. We will have completed a very modern cemetery arrangement project worthy of Antalya. We are planning to complete this project, which we have tendered for approximately 17 million TL, for approximately 35 million TL with the updated figures according to the indices given by TURKSTAT.”

All Transactions Can Be Done Easily

Within the scope of the Uncalı City Cemetery Project, there will be a mosque for 5 people, a semi-open prayer area for 300 people, 400 gasil rooms, 6 morgues, ablution rooms for women and men, administrative and service buildings, workshops, resting areas and a parking lot in an area of ​​36 thousand square meters. Citizens will be able to easily perform all their funeral and burial procedures in more modern conditions.
