Tourists coming to Galataport with cruise ships had a limited visit time due to traffic, and they were racing against time and did not have enough time to explore Istanbul. Transfer vehicles that take tourists to the Historic Peninsula not only increased the carbon footprint, but also harmed our historical heritage in the region.

TÜRSAB President Firuz B. Bağlıkaya, Metro A.Ş. General Manager Özgür Soy, TÜRSAV Coordinator Çetin Gürcün, Metro A.Ş Deputy General Manager Fatih Gültekin and Metro A.Ş. Legal Counsel Baris Demiroglu will attend.
Thanks to this important project, tourists will not wait for hours in traffic and no toxic gas will be released into the environment as the tram will carry them to the Historic Peninsula.
