The construction of the 'Hospice' project, which is called a private center or house, is rapidly increasing in order to ensure that patients in the last period of their life or terminal cancer patients live in peace and a high quality of life.

Metropolitan Mayor Dr. In his statement on the subject, Memduh Büyükkılıç stated that 80 percent of the project has been completed and that their efforts are continuing to make Kayseri a health center with a solid and high quality healthcare infrastructure.

Emphasizing that with the project, where all kinds of opportunities will be provided to patients, private rooms will be allocated and areas where patients can spend time with their visitors, they aim to ensure that the quality of life of cancer patients is kept at the best possible level, and that they aim to spend the last days of their lives as if they were at home. He said it would be the best example of cooperation.

Emphasizing that the Post-Treatment Care Center for Cancer Patients, known as Hospice, built across from Erciyes University, has a total construction area of ​​11 square meters on a plot of 950 square meters, Büyükkılıç said, “As part of the project, there are 4 separate patient rooms for the patient and a companion, as well as hobby rooms. There will be polyclinic rooms, rehabilitation room, intervention room and a multi-purpose hall. We have thought of every detail necessary for the comfort of our cancer patients with a well-equipped facility.”

President Büyükkılıç added that they are with the citizens until the last moment of their lives with this special project that will receive an example and prayer.
