Final Deck of Bitlis Stream Viaduct Placed

The last deck segment of the Bitlis Stream Viaduct has been placed in its final position with the help of the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu.

Emphasizing that the viaduct on the Silk Road is a very important axis that starts from Iran-Esendere-Habur and can reach Baykan-Siirt-Diyarbakır and all points of the country, Minister Karaismailoğlu said that they designed the Bitlis Stream Viaduct to make this important logistics corridor safe, comfortable and fast. .

Karaismailoğlu stated that the viaduct with a height of 54 feet and a span of 90 meters and a weight of 800 thousand tons will be the first of its kind in the world when it is completed.

Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that the viaduct will serve as a two-way divided road and continued his words as follows: “The east and west of our country do not matter. Wherever there is a need, we make our investments. Our state carries out its projects by producing the best engineering solutions. We will increase our divided road networks, which have reached 28.700 km, to 38 thousand km within the framework of the Master Plan we have announced. We are completing the transportation infrastructure of growing Turkey as it is our duty.” added his words.
