Nearly two-thirds of the city is slums. And we do not have parks in the center of the city. Existing parks, in which the municipality building was a park before, but a service building was built later. Our parks are occupied by structures. Here is the Red Crescent building, a building that was built on a park area in the past, a building was built on the places that should be opened as a road, slums were built on our historical monuments. We live in such a city. We changed the city, it is getting richer, more beautiful, it is experiencing the change. We believed that there should be a rail system to Şanlıurfa. If the Transportation Master Plan had been made, we would have gone out to tender for the rail system in the past, perhaps right now. We thought we would share a route of the rail system with you. It starts from Diyarbakir road. We cross the Abide junction. We continue until Akcakale road. The transportation master plan is nearing completion. After it is finished, we will tender the rail system project. After the rail system project is finished, we will make the construction tender of the rail system.”

That's why we thought we could provide such an opportunity. It's right under our town hall. We got our units, which we officially operate. We moved it to a building we rented from foundations. Why are we building 2 thousand 500 houses? Why do we want to make it cheap? Why is it a team that I will remove them in the past Fakıbaba, who sold the most land in Turkey, says today that they should not sell them and give them to this poor poor person. No, they will be demolished and instead of 2 thousand 500 houses, we will give them modern places like 2+1 so that we can move our citizens there. Otherwise, where are we going to take these citizens? How will the city transform? We have to do all these processes simultaneously. At a time when the city has a housing shortage, even if you pay twice the price of it, citizens will have nowhere to go.” He made his statements.

We, as Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, will do this transformation by obtaining a 50 percent grant from the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization at the expropriation point in Gölbaşı Historical Tourism Region. We will begin to expropriate this area as well. What are we going to do when it's publicized? We will carry our citizens to the modern buildings we have built.” he spoke.
