The Open Data Portal, where Izmir Metropolitan Municipality makes data about Izmir freely available, has put into service the city dashboard. In the city panel created by visualizing 16 data sets, users can see many information in graphics, from the Suspended Bill project to dam occupancy rates, from district-based water consumption to culture and arts events.
The Open Data Portal, which the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has opened to free access to city-related data with a transparent, accountable and democratic management approach, draws great attention from users. In order to increase data literacy in the Open Data Portal, the city dashboard was also published. 16 data sets were visualized so that the data presented on the portal can be analyzed quickly and easily without requiring special training. On the city panel, users can see many information in graphics, from the Suspended Bill project to dam occupancy rates, from district-based water consumption to cultural and artistic activities.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Open Data Portal publishes 160 data sets in accordance with the international open data metadata scheme. The portal, which contains data sets in different categories about Izmir, has been viewed 2021 million 5 thousand times since its opening in January 222.
In the Open Data Portal, which enables entrepreneurs who want to start a new business or develop their business, access the data they need, there are data sets from 29 organizations, including the departments of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, ESHOT, İZSU, İZMİR METRO and İZBAN. Among the topics that received the most attention from the datasets, the number of wireless internet (Wizmirnet) location-based daily sessions, the occupancy rates of the dams, free-wireless internet connection points, culture and art events, public transportation general boarding numbers, fish market prices, social services to İzmir Metropolitan Municipality aid applications and air quality measurement values.
