Responding to President Erdoğan's speech at the opening of the Pendik-Sabiha Gökçen metro line, İBB President İmamoğlu said, “The cost of the metro line, which was opened today, is covered by İBB. In other words, as in the whole country, the sole owner of the investments are our valuable citizens.”
IMM President Ekrem İmamoğluresponded to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who targeted him at the opening of the Pendik-Sabiha Gökçen metro line today with the words “Some are trying to own the rail systems we built”.
Sharing the news on his Twitter account that includes the words Erdoğan said about himself, İmamoğlu underlined that the cost of the inaugurated metro was covered by IMM.
Saying, “In fact, the sole owner of the investments, as in the whole country, is our valuable citizens,” the President of IMM wished the Pendik-Sabiha Gökçen Airport Metro to be beneficial for the city.
In a statement he made today, Erdogan blamed İmamoğlu and said, “Some are trying to own the rail systems we built. You know who they are, right? It's flooding, where is the mayor of Istanbul? in Bodrum. But where are Erdogan's ministers? Where the cases are,” he said.
