President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in Zangilan, Azerbaijan. The plane with President Erdoğan landed at Zangilan International Airport, the second airport built with the contributions of Turkish companies in Azerbaijan's liberated territory.

Greeted by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President Erdoğan became the first head of state to land at the completed airport.

The symbolic keys of the airport were presented to President Erdoğan and Aliyev, who cut the opening ribbon of the new airport. President Erdoğan and Aliyev posed for the press with the key.

The two leaders then toured the airport building and received information from the authorities.

President Erdoğan and Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Celal Adan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişci, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, AK Party Deputy Chairman Binali Yıldırım, AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Sözcüsü Ömer Çelik, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun and Presidency SözcüAlso, İbrahim Kalın came to Zangilan.
