The Presidential 3rd International Yacht Race, which is the only yacht race in the world organized between two continents, will take place between 28-30 October. The Republic Cup races will start on October 29 with a moment of silence in front of Dolmabahçe, in honor of Atatürk and his Brothers in Arms.
Within the scope of the Istanbul stage of the races; Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha Cup races will be held on the Caddebostan-Adalar Track on October 28, the Republic Cup on the Bosphorus Track on October 29, and the Blue Homeland Cup races on the Moda-Adalar Track on October 30.
At the end of the two stages, the team that will achieve the best overall ranking will be entitled to the 3rd Presidential International Yacht Race Champion title and the President's Cup. The Istanbul stage will end with a magnificent award ceremony to be held at Shipyard Istanbul on October 30.
Ekrem Yemlihaoğlu, President of the Istanbul Offshore Yacht Racing Club, which brought the Presidential 3rd International Yacht Races to Turkey, reminded that the first stage of the races was held in Marmaris, Muğla, between 25-27 May and said, We held it with the participation of 400 athletes from the Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, Slovenia, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Belarus, Lithuania and England. Every year the momentum is getting higher and the international participation is increasing.”
