"Peaceful Streets and Terrorist Crimes Practice" was carried out simultaneously across the country by the Ministry of Interior.
The following statement was made by the ministry:
“The total and decisive action carried out by our security forces against all terrorist organizations, especially PKK/KCK, DHKP/C, DEAŞ and FETÖ/PDY, targeting the indivisible integrity of our state and nation, public order, fundamental rights and freedoms/safety of life and property of our citizens. In order to continue the struggle, the places where our citizens are concentrated, the institutions and organizations that can be selected as targets by terrorist organizations, and the routes that can be used by members of terrorist organizations for both transit and ammunition shipment purposes, are carried out by the General Directorate of Security, Gendarmerie General Command and Coast Guard Command units under the coordination of the Ministry of Interior. “Peaceful Streets and Terrorism Crimes Practice” was carried out in order to capture the wanted persons and to seize the criminal evidence, if any.
In the Peaceful Streets and Terrorism Crimes Practice, which was carried out simultaneously across the country at 14 thousand 832 points with a total of 17 thousand 117 personnel, including 722 thousand 32 Police, 671 thousand 148 Gendarmerie and 6 Coast Guard personnel, and 197 detector dogs;
A total of 3 wanted persons, 769 of whom were terrorist crimes, were caught, 36 persons were detained, and 18 missing persons over the age of 10, who were wanted as missing, were found.
A total of 226 persons were processed, 154 of which were administrative and 380 were judicial, and a total of 225 thousand 661 TL of administrative fine was imposed.
154 thousand 246 vehicles were checked, 15 wanted vehicles were caught, 622 vehicles were banned from traffic, 2 TL administrative fines were applied to 994 thousand 3.063.331 vehicles.
With 14 pistols, 9 shotguns, 224 bullets/shotgun cartridges, 1 cutting/drilling tool, 8 blank pistols, 62 pistol magazines and miscellaneous parts
Various amounts of drugs and 432 liters of illegal liquor were seized.
