Opinions were exchanged for Istanbul Thessaloniki Skopje Passenger Train Expeditions

The General Manager of the Republic of North Macedonia Transport Company (ZRMS Transport AD Skopje) Majan Vejseli and the accompanying delegation visited the General Directorate of TCDD Transportation.

At the meeting, cooperation opportunities in freight and passenger transportation and technical maintenance were discussed. Opinions were exchanged on the requests of the Republic of North Macedonia Transportation Company for diesel engine rental, passenger train operation between Istanbul-Thessaloniki-Skopje and the revision of towed vehicles belonging to Macedonia.

TCDD Transportation General Manager Ufuk Yalçın stated that he is in favor of the continuation of the cooperation with the Republic of North Macedonia Transportation Company and that TCDD Transportation is ready to help them in any way.

Yalçın: “We have no problem in sharing our knowledge and experience. We are ready to share our experience with the North Macedonian Transportation Company in all matters, including personnel training.” he said.
