Kadıköy IMM Fire Department responded to the fire in Fikirtepe Mahallesi Emir Sokak in 8 minutes. One person affected by the smoke was rescued by the teams and handed over to the medical teams. The teams, which made great efforts to control the fire with 1 personnel and 56 vehicles, determined that 19 people lost their lives in the cooling efforts.
İBB Fire Brigade teams at 19.05 Kadıköy district, Fikirtepe Mahallesi, Emir Sokak, was quickly transferred to the region upon the fire notice. Reaching the scene in 19.13, the teams made great efforts to extinguish the fire, which spread to the 3rd floor and roof of the 3-storey building and the 2 adjacent buildings. In the interventions made with a total of 56 personnel and 19 vehicles, 1 person was delivered to the health teams as affected by the smoke.
IMM Fire Department, which took the fire under control in the building, continues its cooling works. Upon the notification, it was determined that 3 people lost their lives in the search conducted in the building, which was heavily damaged by the fire.
