Addressing the public after the Presidential Cabinet Meeting, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that 150 thousand students who will go to their hometowns with their families during the holidays will be given travel allowance twice a year. In this way, it is aimed that students who are with their families but have difficulties in going to school come and go without putting any burden on them.

Making a statement after the Cabinet Meeting, Erdoğan said, “We will provide transportation support to our students, who are studying in places far from the cities where their families live, to go to and from their schools. Thanks to this support, which will be given twice a year, we aim to ensure that approximately 2 thousand students can travel to and from their families without burdening them.”
