Izmir Metropolitan Municipality increased the number of hot food support points to 6 students. Food distribution started around İzmir Democracy University and Bakırçay University.

Izmir Democracy University and Bakırçay University campuses were added to the hot meal service that started on the campuses of Ege University, Dokuz Eylül University (DEU), İzmir Institute of Technology (İ.YTE) and Katip Çelebi University.
Students can benefit from the hot meal service provided by the Social Services Department for a total of 5 thousand people between 17.00 and 19.00.
Soup stalls are also open
Hot soup is served between 07.30 and 09.00 on weekdays at the Soup Stop, established at the Bornova Metro station near DEU Faculty of Education, DEU Faculty of Theology, DEU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, DEU Tınaztepe Campus Entrance, Katip Çelebi University and Ege University Campus.
