Eskişehir Design and Innovation Center Opened

Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank stated that the Eskişehir Design and Innovation Center was established with a support of more than 70 million liras, and said, "It is equipped with the latest technological devices that allow learning and applying additive manufacturing methods, and it has been put into the service of our SMEs." said.

Minister Varank opened the Eskişehir Design and Innovation Center (ETİM), which was established in Eskişehir OSB within the scope of the Competitive Sectors Program, financed within the framework of the financial cooperation of the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Noting that there are 260 projects with ongoing budgets exceeding 42 million Euros within the scope of the Competitive Sectors Program, Varank said, “We have a large project pool that touches critical areas from autonomous vehicles to the digital game sector, from the fight against cancer to the digital transformation of the industry. With the projects we implement, we aim to increase the efficiency of our enterprises and to enable them to achieve a competitive production structure for export. The way to achieve this is undoubtedly through R&D, technology and innovation, as we all know.” used his statements.

When the projects of the 20 companies that have been served until now are examined, we can clearly see that very important successes have been achieved especially in mold production and that good works can come from here.” he said.

Referring to the National Rail Systems Test Center (URAYSİM) Project in Eskişehir, Varank said, “The URAYSİM Project is a project that will add value to this city.
