Organized in Diyarbakır as part of the Turkish Cultural Road Festivals, the Sur Cultural Road Festival started with the exhibitions opened in the İçkale Museum Complex.

Later, Minister Ersoy, who started the "Photomarathon Diyarbakır Event", stated in his speech that the cultural road festivals started with the Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival, and then, as the Ministry, they decided to spread these festivals to Anatolia.

Stating that the festivals that started with the Beyoğlu Culture Road, the Capital Culture Road Festival continues, Minister Ersoy gave the following information:

“This year we started with Çanakkale. Çanakkale was followed by the Konya Mystical Music Festival. On October 1, the Beyoğlu and Başkent Cultural Road festivals started. Now we are in Diyarbakır, the apple of the eye of the East, at the Sur Culture Road Festival. We are giving the start of this on this occasion. It has increased to 5 this year, we will increase it to 10 next year, and by increasing this number every year, we will reach all provinces. We have 5 additional cities coming next year, 3 have been finalized so far.”

Minister Ersoy explained that they have taken under their protection the Adana Orange Blossom Carnival, which will be held in April next year, and noted that the Ephesus Culture Road Festival will also be held in April in Izmir.

Stating that the restoration and renovation works of the Alsancak Tekel Factory will be completed by the end of March, Ersoy stated that they added İzmir to April by creating the activity area.

Culture and Tourism Minister Ersoy continued his speech as follows:

“There was Gaziantep Gastro Festival in September, and we take it under our protection as the Culture Road Festival. As Gastro Gaziantep Cultural Road Festival, we are adding it in September. We will add 2 more to our city. One will probably be the Mediterranean Region, and the other will be Trabzon. Because our priority is to spread the festivals to 7 regions. Then it spread to our big cities and gradually to Anatolia.”

Expressing that one of the most exciting parts of these festivals is the "Photomarathon", Ersoy said that with Fotomaraton, very beautiful photos are produced and spread over social media.

Minister Ersoy and his entourage later visited the “Revolution Erbil Colors and Techniques Exhibition” opened in Goat Bastion.

On the terrace of Goat Burcu, Minister Ersoy, who met with the children participating in the activities held at Dicle University Child Education Application and Research Center, also visited the exhibition of the photographs taken about the historical Zerzevan Castle as part of the "Sky Day Observations" event, and got information about the works.

Cultural Road Festivals Have Become a Brand

Noting that the cultural road festivals, which they set out with the aim of spreading the country's cultural and artistic activities to a wider spectrum, and easier access of the people to cultural and artistic activities, have become a brand, Minister Ersoy stated that the festival, which was held for the first time in September, attracted great attention with its full programs.

Minister Ersoy stated that they were happy with the success they achieved in the Çanakkale Troy Cultural Road Festival, to which 300 thousand art lovers showed interest.

There Will Be More Than 2 Artists in Diyarbakır

Stating that the Başkent and Beyoğlu Cultural Road Festival hosted very important events as well as hosting guests beyond their expectations, Minister Ersoy said:

“We organize cultural road festivals in 5 provinces in total. Next year, İzmir Ephesus Culture Road Festival, Adana Orange Blossom Carnival and Gaziantep Gastronomy Festival will be included in these 5 cities. The description of the happiness of experiencing the festival enthusiasm in this ancient land is very big for us. In this context, we have prepared beautiful events for you. Our activities, which we started today, will continue until October 16th. Art lovers from Diyarbakir and the surrounding provinces will meet with more than 2 thousand artists and more than 600 events. All values ​​will take place in these festivals, from Dengbejs to the Presidential Symphony Orchestra concert, from Turkish and Armenian songs to iwan nights.”

Stating that they organize beautiful concerts for young people, Ersoy said that Yavuz Bingöl, Oğuzhan Koç, Zara, Murat Dalkılıç, Yüksek Loyalty Group and Ziynet Sali will perform at the open-air stage of Dağ Kapı Square, and that Fire of Anatolia will also present a beautiful show in the same venue. conveyed.
