The children, who enjoyed many activities from theater to workshops, from puppet shows to exhibitions at the Beyoğlu Culture Road Festival, organized within the scope of the Turkish Cultural Road Festivals, also had a pleasant time with the Papagenos opera.

As part of the festival, Papagenos, inspired by the Magic Flute Opera, one of Mozart's most popular works, met with children at the AKM Theater Hall. The Papagenos family presented the most entertaining version of opera to children, accompanied by the Symphonista Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Caner Akın and under the direction of Umut Kosman. Children also enjoyed the show by immersing themselves in the rhythm of music, songs and dance in the opera where nature and human love were handled.
A different activity every day at AKM Children's Art Center
Within the scope of the festival, AKM Children's Art Center also hosts children with different activities every day. The children participating in the “From Cube to Sphere” event at the AKM Children's Art Center experienced the technique and structural technology of wall-blocking and produced a model of AKM's iconic sphere. In the “My Stage at AKM” event, the children put forward a shadow theater performance based on a story they designed. On the other hand, the movie “Soul” met with children at AKM Türk Telekom Prime Open Air Cinema. While the "Frog Prince" theater performance was performed at the Tarık Zafer Tunaya Open Air Stage with the interpretation of the Uyghur Children's Theater, the popular cartoon character “Smart Rabbit Momo” multiplied the joy of children in Taksim Square.
Flamenco wind blows with Paco Pena at the festival
Considered one of the greatest flamenco guitarists and composers of our time with a career spanning more than 40 years, Paco Pena blew flamenco winds at AKM Türk Telekom Opera Hall. Paco Pena & Friends, which attracted great attention all over the world with its ensemble consisting of dancers, guitarists and singers, was applauded for its exciting performance at the Beyoğlu Culture Road Festival.
Aslı Hünel at the Grand Pera Emek Stage, Ekin Uzunlar at the AKM Türk Telekom Open-Air Stage, Fettah Can at Şişhane Meydan Open-Air Stage, Ayhan Sicimoğlu & Latin All Stars at Galataport Meydan Open-Air Stage gave music lovers an unforgettable night.
