The Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, announced that they will deposit the child support implemented within the scope of the Turkey Family Support Program to the accounts of the beneficiaries as of November.

Minister Yanık stated that citizens in need are there for support whenever they need support and made statements regarding child support, which is implemented as a component of the Turkey Family Support Program.

Stating that they continue to produce policies with a family-oriented social assistance and social service approach, Minister Yanık said, “In this direction, we have increased the current budget of the Turkey Family Support Program to 25 billion TL by adding 40 billion TL. However, we have expanded the scope of our program. Thus, we will provide additional support for children in social assistance beneficiary households during our support program.”

Support payment between 350 TL – 650 TL

Noting that they will provide support between 350 TL and 650 TL per month, depending on the number of children in the households, with the child support implemented within the scope of the Turkey Family Support Program, Minister Yanık said, “Within the scope of our support, 1 TL for households with 2-350 children, 3 TL for households with 450 children, 4 TL for households with 550 children. We will pay TL 5 to households with 650 or more children.”

Minister Yanık, who stated that they aim to support both households with children and the expenses incurred by children, with the support per child to be given to the beneficiary households of social assistance, said: said.

Minister Yanık stated that they always prioritize the distribution of resources for the benefit of all segments of society and work in this direction, with a perspective that prioritizes the sharing of social welfare and with strong supply-oriented social assistance programs.
