Küçükçekmece Mayor Kemal Çebi also came to the scene and examined the construction site. Çebi stated that after the collapse, the relevant teams of the municipality examined the construction site and took precautions.

Stating that the area where the collapse occurred will be filled, Çebi stated that according to the measurements made, there is no cause for concern for the surrounding houses. Cebi also noted that as a precaution, it is planned to suspend education at the university, which is located next to the construction site, tomorrow.
