'PATIENT TRANSPLANT IS NOT IN CONDITION'

The following statements were used in the statement made by the Governor's Office: There has been a need to inform the public about the speculations that have been reflected in the press recently regarding the transportation of İzmir City Hospital.

In this direction, as it is known, the construction, regulation and coordination of all kinds of transportation in the provinces where the metropolitan municipalities are located are the duties and responsibilities of the metropolitan municipalities in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Since the transportation issue of İzmir City Hospital is related to the intercity roads in one aspect, it is carried out by our governorship with the coordination of the relevant institutions. Therefore, the Regional Directorate of Highways produces the necessary solution in terms of highways, and the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is trying to fulfill its duty in the areas related to it.

In addition, the use of cable cars in transportation to the hospital in question is a project that Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has been working on before, and it has been recommended by our governorship to expand it to include earthquake residences.

All transportation works related to the City Hospital, including the ambulance routes, are carried out in coordination and the main transportation will be provided by the roads connected to the ring road. is out of the question.
