Bicycle Path Built on Mimar Sinan Overpass

On the Mimar Sinan overpass, which is located on the Izmit crossing of the D-100 Highway and has become one of the symbols of the city, maintenance and repair, ground asphalting and lighting works have been completed. Finally, the metropolitan teams did painting work for the use of bicycles and motorcycles on the Mimar Sinan flyover. The 1.5-meter-wide turquoise-colored bicycle path and the 4.8-meter and 3.6-meter section that will be used by pedestrians were painted with black asphalt paint.

WATERPROOF AND NON-SLIP ASPHALT FLOOR

The 168-meter-long, 1.5-meter-wide bicycle path to be used by bicycles and motor vehicles was painted turquoise, and the 154-meter-long section to be used by pedestrians was painted with black asphalt paint. Sandblasting and stainless painting were done on the mechanical steel parts of the Mimar Sinan flyover, and then the structural defects were removed by asphalting the floor.
