Ankara Metropolitan Municipality celebrated the 100th anniversary of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's Acceptance of Citizenship of Ankara with great enthusiasm in the capital.

The program hosted by ABB; political party representatives, representatives of non-governmental organizations and associations, mayors, council members, ABB bureaucrats and many citizens attended.

Making the opening speech of the program, ABB Deputy Secretary General Baki Kerimoğlu said, “Today, on October 5, exactly 100 years ago, the founder and savior of our country, the great Atatürk, was given a citizenship certificate by the people of Ankara. We are very proud and happy that Atatürk is our fellow countryman. It imposes valuable responsibilities and obligations on us as Ankara residents. Great Atatürk made an effort and effort for the development of Ankara in every field. As ABB, we are working under the leadership of our President Mansur Yavaş to make the capital of our savior and founder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk the most developed capital in the world. Saying that the date of October 5, 1922 is very important for Ankara and the people of Ankara, Ali Bozkurt, Head of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs, said:

Yenimahalle Mayor Fethi Yaşar stated that the Citizens' Day is one of the historically important days of Ankara and said, “We are celebrating today with our Ankara Club, Metropolitan Municipality and Yenimahalle Municipality with a beautiful artist. I believe that this day of citizenship is an important day from the historical days of Ankara. We celebrate with enthusiasm the day Atatürk was awarded the citizenship certificate”, while the Chairman of the Ankara Club Association, Dr. Metin Özaslan said:
