The script applications for the Turkish Capital Markets Association's (TSPB) short film competition "Being an Investor in the Capital Markets" themed "Future in Your Pocket with a Camera" have been extended until Monday, 3 October.
Applications for the competition, which can be attended by all ages, can be made online through the website of cameraelindegelecekincebinde.com. It was stated that moviegoers who want to participate in the competition should share their scripts until October 3, 2022. The motto of this year's competition themed "Being an Investor in Capital Markets" is "Movies are Short, Investments are Long".
The owners of the scenarios that passed the pre-selection; Murat İri, Faculty Member of the Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio and Television, Istanbul University, and Ali Bilgin, the director of TV series such as Medcezir, Ufak Tefek Murders, Manager Ara, and Judgment, will be entitled to participate in a workshop on "Cinema Elements" on October 22.
First scenarios will be chosen, then movies will be shot.
Moviegoers who will participate in the competition will first send their scripts prepared in accordance with the theme of "Being an Investor in Capital Markets". The scenarios evaluated by the TSPB Pre-Jury will be selected by Murat İri, Faculty Member of Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio and Television, and Duygu Ertekin, Content Development Manager of Kanal D.
In the pre-selection, films that are not suitable for the theme and not well-processed are eliminated, and it is aimed to produce better quality films. Candidates who pass the scenario stage will be able to participate in the “Future in Your Pocket with a Camera” Short Film Competition by filming their scenarios.
Prizes of 70 thousand TL in total will be awarded to the winners.
The first film in the competition will be awarded 25 thousand TL, the second film will be awarded 20 thousand TL, and the third will be awarded 15 thousand TL. In the competition, the "Cüneyt Cebenoyan Special Jury Award" worth 2014 thousand TL will be given on behalf of Cüneyt Cebenoyan, an important figure in the cinema world, who has been a jury member of the competition since 3 and died in a traffic accident on 2019 August 10.
