Another step forward in the 'Grow Your Dreams' project, which enables young university girls to receive educational scholarships, spearheaded by Dilek İmamoğlu. 40 of the female students who received scholarships last year visited IMM companies and gained experience on how to prepare for working life. Young girls, some of whom are also given internship opportunities, experience business life in the field; He attended trainings on how to prepare a resume, how to prepare for an interview, personal image management, problem solving and decision making. It is aimed that the development programs, which started with the cooperation of the Istanbul Foundation and KİPTAŞ, will continue and develop under the hosting of other subsidiary companies.

A new step has been taken in the 'Grow Your Dreams' project, which Dilek İmamoğlu pioneered to contribute to the education of female students, and which was implemented by the Istanbul Foundation in March 2021. Within the scope of the project, which provided educational scholarships to 300 female students last year, now 40 of the scholarship students; The 'Development Program' was organized for the first time this year in order to prepare for working life.

With the program held between 19-24 September, university female students who had the opportunity to get to know IMM affiliates and have experience in the field; They received training on how to prepare for business life, how to prepare a resume, how to prepare for an interview, how to manage personal image, problem solving and decision making skills, and multidimensional thinking. In addition to various trainings that will support their education and career life, they participated in field programs and culture-art events where some subsidiary companies and their services were promoted. Among the field programs; They had the opportunity to see many areas on site, from the Golden Horn Shipyard to the IPA Campus, from the Halk Ekmek factory to the Museum Gazhane, from the KİPTAŞ construction site to the metro workshop area and the İSTAÇ waste management facility.

At the end of the Development Program, the young participants were given their certificates at a ceremony held in the Basilica Cistern. It is aimed that the long-term social responsibility project will continue to develop and be hosted by other subsidiary companies in the future.

40 female students who participated in the 'Grow Your Dreams Development Program' received their certificates at the ceremony in Yerebatan Cistern. The ceremony, attended by İBB subsidiary company executives, KİPTAŞ General Manager Ali Kurt, Istanbul Foundation General Manager Perihan Yücel and Dilek İmamoğlu, started with a music concert in the enchanting atmosphere of the cistern. Dilek İmamoğlu, advising the young girls participating in the program to embrace their dreams, said that she is happy with the increase in the number of young girls to be provided with scholarship support, and that the development program will develop and grow with the participation of other subsidiary companies.

The first work that emerged in the "Grow Your Dreams" project was the book "Inspiring Steps", which tells the stories of 40 women from the pen of 40 different authors. In order to contribute to the education of female students with the income from the sale of the book, it is aimed to increase the education scholarship given to 300 female students last year to 1.000 this year. This year's scholarship applications were received between 14-26 September.
