TEKNOFEST Black Sea Hosted 1 Million 250 Thousand People

TEKNOFEST Black Sea, held in Samsun between 30 August and 4 September, hosted a total of 6 million 1 thousand visitors in all cities in 250 days. Expressing that everyone from 7 to 70 showed great interest in the festival, Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Demir stated that nothing will be the same in the city anymore.

Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3), the festival TEKNOFEST Black Sea has been successfully completed. Hosting the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival, which aims to encourage young people to produce technology with the national technology move, Samsun got full marks from the 5th organization with the cooperation and efforts of the institutions.

EVERYONE HAD UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS

While award-winning technology competitions, domestic technology exhibitions, open air exhibition of air and land vehicles, international initiative summit, Turkish Stars, Solo Turkish shows and open stage concerts of famous artists added color to the festival, all visitors, especially those from Samsun, had unforgettable moments. With the visit of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the festival enthusiasm and excitement in the city reached its peak.

METROPOLITAN STAND GETS FOCUS OF ATTENTION

The stand of Samsun Metropolitan Municipality was one of the places that attracted the most attention in the festival. While the simulation of the Formula-1 car in the exact dimensions was flooded by young people and children, the virtual reality game played with VR glasses provided a different experience. The mind game caralog, which aims to introduce Samsun, entertained everyone by making them think. On the giant screen, the visitors watched the projects and services carried out by the municipality.

While the festival came to an end without any mistakes and completely, it was announced that a total of 30 million 4 thousand people visited the festival area at Çarşamba Airport between 1 August and 250 September. In the post on TEKNOFEST Twitter account with the hashtag 'TEKNOFEST Black Sea', "We would like to thank all our participants who did not leave us alone in the Black Sea storm. Good luck to you…” expressions were used.

Making an evaluation about the TEKNOFEST Black Sea event, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir thanked everyone who contributed. President Demir said, “TEKNOFEST Black Sea, organized in our city, ended successfully after a long preparation period. TEKNOFEST is a very big organization. I am very happy to host this huge event. Thank God, we have overcome the potential of our city with the cooperation and organizational ability of institutions. The intense interest and enthusiasm of our people surprised us all. The visit of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, also honored all of us. To our President, our Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varınk, T3 Foundation Chairman of the Board of Trustees Selçuk Bayraktar, AK Party Deputy Chairman Çiğdem Karaaslan and our deputies, our Governor Zülkif Dağlı, all our institutions and all teams of our municipality.
