The 'International Rail Systems Industry Fair', which was held for the 13th time this year and where railway transportation technologies are shared, continues in Berlin, Germany. Stakeholders have the opportunity to come together at the meetings held at the fair, to which approximately 60 companies from Turkey participate.
On the second day of the fair, representatives of the International Union of Railways (UIC), TCDD Transportation General Manager Ufuk Yalçın, TCDD General Manager Hasan Pezük and Teknik Mühendislik ve Müşavirlik A.Ş. General Manager Mustafa Özdöner came together.
Our General Manager Ufuk Yalçın met with the President of the International Union of Railways (UIC) and Polish State Railways (PKP) General Manager Krzysztof Maminski, UIC General Manager François Davenne and UIC Middle East Region (RAME) President and TCDD General Manager Hasan Pezük at the InnoTrans 2022 Berlin Fair exchanged.
At the meeting, the message was given that Turkish railways would play an active role in transferring Europe's knowledge and experience to the Middle East countries, which are less developed in terms of railway technology.
During the meeting with UIC President Maminski, the participants expressed their views on the problems of the region, their expectations from the UIC and solution proposals.
UIC General Manager François Davenne thanked the participants for their work and assessment of the needs of the region and underlined the importance given to interregional cooperation within UIC.
