IMM President Ekrem İmamoğluparticipated in the test drive on the Rumelihisarüstü-Aşiyan Funicular line. Stating that they had various difficulties in the construction of the line, İmamoğlu said, “It has a story. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) President Ekrem İmamoğluparticipated in the test drive on the Rumelihisarüstü-Aşiyan Funicular line. Accompanied by Sarıyer Mayor Şükrü Genç, İmamoğlu received information from his staff about the works that are approaching the end before the test drive. İmamoğlu made a statement to the press during the test drive, which was successfully carried out from Rumelihisarüstü Station in Sarıyer to Aşiyan Station in Beşiktaş district.

“WE ARE WALKING TOWARDS THE RESULT”

Stating that they had difficulties with the tender and contractor companies in the construction of the line, İmamoğlu said, “He has a story. I will explain at length at the opening, but here, with a truly extraordinary struggle, we have come to a conclusion to be completed after taking over the job. We fixed some technical issues of the build. We solved your financial problems. When we took over, these vehicles had not yet been ordered. We made a special effort to place the orders and we had to make some deals by knocking out the contractor. It has many topics. But at the end of the day, it is a great pleasure for me to be building this facility here. Now we are walking towards the conclusion. Towards the end of October, close to the 99th anniversary of our Republic or a week later, we will make a beautiful opening here with Istanbulites. We will bring Hisarüstü together with Aşiyan. We will be distributing our citizens from Aşiyan to many points in Istanbul via the Bosphorus. It already has a stop above that meets the metro line. It makes me very happy to give this gift to the beautiful students of the Bosphorus who are suffering the most here, in this period. It will make their lives much easier,” he said.

WE WILL OPEN THE BOSTANCI-DUDULLU LINE IN DECEMBER

“Unfortunately, we were not comfortable most of the time on our subway lines. But for example, we will open the Bostancı-Dudullu line at the end of December. We achieved the result, almost 55 percent of which was paid entirely with our own resources in our period. We had a hard time. But in these difficult conditions, in environments where finance, foreign exchange and inflation increase, we will open the rate in December as well. We have a line of approximately 13,5 kilometers. For example, due to the recently known increased costs, two of our line contractors terminated the contract. One of them is our Pendik-Kaynarca-Tuzla line. This is an important line. The tender process is currently ongoing. Cherry-Halkalı our line. He also canceled. He exercised his right of termination. We are also preparing the tender process for the rate. Therefore, we overcome the difficulties here as well. Of course, we had losses, we provided a certain amount of financing for 6-7 six months.”

APPROVAL RISK: “I COMPLAIN OUR PEOPLE”

It has to contribute. If I were in the same situation, believe me, I would willingly sacrifice all my work to see how I can sign the day before or to get this job as soon as possible. How is this done? What mind is this? Believe me, it doesn't take my logic or my mind in any way. I commend it to God. And I complain about them to our people.”

"ANYWAY; 7 MONTHS LEFT”

“Göztepe-Ataşehir-Ümraniye line is very important in Finans Şehir. 80 people enter and exit there. The subway hadn't even started when we got it. In other words, if the contractor there had not experienced difficulties, Finans City would have been finished maybe 2 years ago; There was no subway. SHORT STORY OF THE LINE

İBB started the construction of Rumelihisarüstü – Aşiyan Funicular Line on 21 June 2017. Site delivery for the construction, electromechanical and vehicle purchase project of the 800-meter-long line with a 14,2 percent slope has started. While the works on the line were at the level of 2018 percent at the end of 23, due to the lack of equity budget; vehicle and funicular electromechanical system production was stopped without ever starting. The line was brought to an end with the rapid works carried out.

AFFORDABLE SERVICE FOR STUDENTS WITH BELTUR

The Rumelihisarüstü-Aşiyan funicular line, which is planned to serve Istanbulites in the near future, will serve 3 thousand passengers per hour. The total travel time on the Aşiyan line, which consists of 2 stops, is 2.5 minutes, and the line length is 0,8 kilometers. Internet and telephone access will be available from the date the line is put into service. Line; It will be integrated with the (M6) Levent-Hisarüstü metro line at Rumelihisarüstü Station. In addition, integration with City Lines (Anadolu Fortress, Küçüksu and Kandilli Piers) will be provided at Aşiyan Station. In this way, an alternative will be created in terms of continental transitions. In addition, BELTUR Cafe will be located in the pedestrian connection tunnel of Aşiyan Station, where students can get service at affordable prices.
