Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) City Theaters shared its new season repertoire with the press and theater lovers at Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage.
In the new season of IMM City Theatres, which will start on October 5; It was stated that in addition to the classic plays of Shakespeare and Haldun Taner, new plays by young writers will also be staged.
At the meeting where İBB City Theaters General Art Director Ayşegül İşsever announced the new season plays, İBB Culture Department Coordinator Figen Ayhan Karakelle, City Theaters Manager Ceyhun Ünlü, Deputy Directors Oytun Askeroğlu, Mehmet Karaosmanoğlu, Assistant General Artistic Director Can Başak, Emrah Özertem, CRR General Art Director Murat Cem Orhan as well as many artists and journalists attended.

Explaining that they have determined the main theme of the season as "Istanbul Meets Classics", General Art Director Ayşegül İşsever said, "While we bring local and foreign classics together with our audience, we also include new writers and plays in our repertoire. When we look at the repertoire of Istanbul City Theaters to date, we see that the first plays of many classic writers met with the audience at the City Theater today.” made a statement.
Stating that they took into consideration the interest of young people in Istanbul while preparing the new season, İşsever invited the young people to watch the plays.
