Turkish Underwater Imaging Championship, organized by the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF), was held in Seferihisar, Izmir. Eskişehir Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club athletes achieved a great success by winning 3 medals in the championship.
Athletes affiliated with the Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club continue to be the pride of Eskişehir with their successful results. Athletes from Eskişehir left their mark on the Golden Pallet Underwater Imaging Turkey Championship organized by the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF) in Seferihisar, Izmir.
Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club athletes Erkan Balk and Berna Şensarı from Eskişehir participated in the championship. A total of 22 athletes, 22 competitors and 44 dive partners, made 2 separate dives in 4 days in the bays on the coast of Seferihisar. In the championship, the best photos evaluated in the categories of fish, macro, theme, wide angle, wide angle with model, creative, video film, unedited film were selected.
Eskişehir Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club athlete Erkan Balk won a gold medal in the film category, a gold medal in the unedited film category, and 3 medals as the Turkey Champion in the video film category. At the ceremony held in Sığacık Kaleiçi with the presentation of Korcan Fikir, medals were given to the top athletes.
Due to the great success achieved, the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen also congratulated the athletes of the Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club, Erkan Balk and Berna Şensarı.
