A Chinese company has brought driverless, lap-mount monorail models to its headquarters in eastern China for demonstration purposes at the 2022 World Manufacturing Congress, which opened on Tuesday.
According to CRRC Puzhen Alstom, the manufacturer of the monorail train, the company's products are used in many cities in China, thanks to its lower cost than conventional subways. The monorail model, which is at the 2022 World Manufacturing Congress, is different from the subways, and its total cost is one-third of the subway, as it moves on the line with rubber wheels. It greatly reduces the traffic pressure in urban transportation.
In a statement made by the CRRC Puzhen Alstom Company, Xu Haida said, "Our monorail train models are exported to countries such as Brazil and Thailand, as well as China."
