Gaziray Begins Journeys in October!

In the Gaziray Project, which was implemented to solve the transportation problem of Gaziantep, it was announced that the passenger transportation operations would start in 2019 for the first time. In the 4 years that have passed, the passenger transportation operations in the project could not be started. While some claims that the project will start to carry passengers in October were on the agenda, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who made statements after the Cabinet Meeting, said that the Gaziray Project will be commissioned as of October.

While the controversial process regarding Gaziray continues, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who made a statement after the Cabinet Meeting, said that some transportation projects, including the Gaziray Project, will be put into service as of October.

Stating that they completed the South West Ring Road in Diyarbakır with a length of more than 29 kilometers, crossroads and bridges at a cost of 1 billion liras, President Erdoğan said:

“We are preparing to put 2,6 tunnels and 8 bridges on the Malatya-Hekimhan road, with an investment value of 16 billion liras, into service in Malatya. Either you get up and say 'We built a subway here and there', 'We built a tunnel like this'. He doesn't understand, he doesn't know these things. He lies a lot. No honesty, no production. We have completed Gaziray, which will serve 25,5 thousand passengers daily, with 16 stations in Gaziantep with a route of 358 kilometers. In Istanbul Kadıköy-We have completed the construction of the Pendik-Sabiha Gökçen metro line, which is the continuation of the Pendik metro line, with a length of 7,4 kilometers and a daily capacity of 1,2 million passengers, and it is finished. We are planning to open all these projects in October, hopefully,''he said.
