Today, 24 sacks of lamb grower feed were distributed to 274 producers from 8 neighborhoods in Dikili.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality distributed 18 sheep and goats to 128 producers from 483 neighborhoods in Dikili within the scope of the "Ovine Livestock Project". With the cubs, this number reached 104.
"Let there be"
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Mustafa Özuslu, Agricultural Services Department Head Şevket Meriç, Metropolitan Municipality bureaucrats, Dikili Municipality Councilor Mustafa Demirel, Dikili Municipality Headman's Office Tamer Akman, headmen and producers attended the feed distribution ceremony in Dikili.
Speaking at the ceremony, producer Sevda Sever, Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyer“We were about to sell these animals. Thanks to these supports, we gave up. Thank you, let there be," he said. Producer Menekşe Gören stated that they continued production in this way and said, “Our President's support was very good in this bad time, we thank our President Tunç”.
Approaching 40 thousand sacks
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which provides dairy feed support for cattle breeders in Aliağa, Bornova, Buca and Kınık districts, distributed 678 thousand 39 sacks of feed to 91 producers in Kiraz, Torbalı, Beydağ, Tire and Menderes districts in order to support small cattle breeding with "lamb rearing feed". In 2021, 7 sacks of feed were delivered to the producer affected by the fire in Muğla.
