After the international road bike races, Erciyes now hosts international mountain bike competitions. Cyclists will pedal both in the volcanic terrain of Mount Erciyes and in Koramaz Valley, where history and nature are intertwined.
Erciyes International Road Bike Races, which started in Kayseri Erciyes on July 23 and were successfully completed, continue with the Erciyes International Mountain Bike Races to be held on September 17-25.
The competitions to be held in Erciyes Mountain and Koramaz Valley will be organized by the Erciyes High Altitude and Sports Tourism Association under the leadership of the International Cyclists Union -UCI and the Turkish Cycling Federation, and under the auspices of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Erciyes A.Ş, Spor A.Ş. and Hüma Hospital.
Mountain bike races will be held in the Cross Country Olympic / XCO- C2 and Cross Country / XCC -C3 elite women and elite men categories.
The first of the races will start on 17-18 September 2022 with the Kayseri MTB Cup and Erciyes MTB Cup stages. Athletes will pedal on the track in Koramaz Valley, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List of Kayseri.
The Miniature Cappadocia MTB Cup and Soğanlı MTB Cup races on September 24-25 will take place on the challenging volcanic terrain of Erciyes.

- 18 September 2022 Erciyes MTB Cup / Start: 10:00 – Yer Koramaz Valley- Vekse
- September 24, 2022 Miniature Capp. MTB Cup / Start: 10:00 – Mount Erciyes – Tekir Region
- 25 September 2022 Soğanlı MTB Cup / Start: 10:00 – Erciyes Mountain / Tekir Region
